MY WORK
I’m a multimedia artist working with people, performance, written and light-projected text, plants, and alternative photography, using walking and listening as part of my practice. My work engages directly with urban landscapes and explores notions of place, community, grief, gratitude, and belonging. I invite audiences to pause and experience everyday places slowly, revealing the magical multiple layers of a landscape and their future place within it.
BIO
I was born in 1983 in Peterborough (UK) and currently live and work in London. I have lived on a narrowboat without a fixed mooring, moving from place to place every two weeks for over 14 years. Living nomadically in obscure urban, suburban and rural landscapes for the last decade has informed my practice. My practice also draws from my own losses, and the consequential grounding and deep connection I have found in natural environments both rural and urban.
I regularly exhibit and hold participatory projects. Collaborators include IMT Gallery, Metal (Peterborough), PEER, Nunnery Gallery, Cubitt, OUTPOST, Surface Gallery, A.P.T, Almeida Theatre, Willesden Gallery, Dark Mountain, Rugby Art Gallery and Museum, Mercer Art Gallery and Mall Galleries. I was recently awarded an a-n Artist’s Bursary 2025-26 and I volunteer for the Mobile Apothecary in Bethnal Green.
